2015 CX-5 with 35k miles.
We got new front pads and rotors (didn't replace pads soon enough so destroyed the rotors). About 2 weeks later there was a bad rattle in the front driver side wheel area. Looking around I couldn't find anything wrong without taking the tire off. Had the car towed to a Mazda dealer via Mazda Roadside assistance.
Turns out the bolts on the caliber had broken off. My immediate thought was these guys had over torqued the bolts when they did the brakes and they gave way soon after. They gave me the excuse that "Brakes get hot and they overheated and broke, happens a lot" (boom07).
Anyone ever deal with this nonsense?
