i got the rotors late in the afternoon also.

I got my driver side done now, im heading back out to finish the other side.


what should i torque the front wheel lugs too??

it says in the manual, but offhand i think it is somewhere around 68-82 lbs. i usually set the torque wrench to 75...

I got them on and went for a ride, they feel real nice. They dont feel as tight as i think they should, i probally just need to bleed my brakes. Im gonna order some SS lines, so when i get my SS clutch line and some motul 600, and take it to my brake shop and have them bleed/ refill them for me.

First wheel took about 1:45 mins, i couldnt find out where the damn m springs went. Finally i figured it out, i couldnt look at the other side b/c my garage is a tight fit so i only could access one at a time. The second wheel took no more then 30 mins.

Paul it is normal for the brakes to feel weak right after the install...They need time to bed in properly...do a couple of 60mph to 20mph if you can...make the first one very soft, and then brake progressively harder on the next few times...That will help the pad material's initial bite, and make the brakes overall feel much more responsive...It will do it on it's own anyway so you don't have to...But make sure you don't lock them up or anything for at least a hundred miles...just kind of baby them at the beginning...

And check your brake master cylinder reservoir...it shouldn't be low anymore...(when the pad material wears more fluid is drained out of the reservoir into the lines...once new thicker pads are installed the pistons are pushed back farther...pushing all that fluid back into the reservoir...)...It shouldn't be low unless a lot was burned up when the old pads were used...If it is you can buy some normal brake fluid just to top it off until you get the Motul and SS lines installed...But they do not need bled if you didn't removed the caliper lines...

I will check the reservoir tomorrow. That makes sense why my "brake" light flashed b4 during hard braking, the fluid was going low.

I will try and put some miles on them tomorrow.
