The noise is starting to get to me, thought I could just ignore it but I figured maybe someone here may have some input. Anywayz, at low speeds (5-20mph) there is a squeeking coming from my front right. It's pretty loud and emarassing on a new car.
I have checked ALL the pads and they look good, only 14K on those puppies.
I have checked the rotor for any signs of corrosion or starnge wear, all good.
I even took it to the dealer and they cannot "re-create the problem" which means they don't want to deal with it I assume.
I even went and got some brake cleaner but that didn't help.
The squeel does incrase if I am light on the brakes which is why I figured it was the pad.
This typically happens when it's cold outside, which is always, in Alaska.
Anyone got any ideas on what I should/could look for?
It's not a big deal, just extremely annoying. (argh)
