Ok so I decided to clean my Injen filter yesterday and disconnected the negative terminal on the battery. When I took her for a test drive, whenever I would come to a stop my car would idle low to 200 then jump back up to 800... anyone know whats going on?? Thanks

Hello,

what did you use to clean your air filter? water may contaminate the air flow sensor.

Is the intake clamp loose, or is there a air leak some where after the Air flow meter?

Any vacuum hoses came off, or left off by accident?

Why did you disconnect the neg. batt. terminal? Not that would have an effect on how your engine idles.

I had I/H/E on my acura, would damn near stall at every stop light. I put it back to stk and everything was perfect. I/H/E provide better top end and better accelleration but there are always repercusions.

Your ECU is designed to rev the engine at a certain RPM with everything stk, start changing variables like amount of air coming in and back pressure etc. and it is not going to adjust. Maybe have your ECU reprogramed to present performance and see what happens.
