Brake Dust on TIRES

I did a search, no luck. Even in the Web.

They all want to talk about the WHEEL...!
I want to know how to get it off the tires. I have takin a stiff brush and almost scratching the rubber on my old car. This one I figured I would ask before I got down to it.

Any body with any help or secret would be great!

just get a decent wheel cleaner and brush. i wash my tires at the same time as the wheels with the same stuff.

Use any white wall cleaner it works great and looks like you shinned when you are done! By the way leave it on for like 5 mins and scrub with a brush not wire and you will be amazed on what comes off.

Same here. I spray the wheel and tire, let it sit, scrub the rim only, if needed, then rinse thoroughly. You will see lots of brown gunk wash off of the tire. After it dries, follow-up with some tireblack protectant of your choice.
