So mods: Forge Bpv Altered customs FMIC Fujita CAI and Corksport Inlet.

i installed my corksport everything is tight and secure i checked multiple times and last night after the install i took a drive and i got no ping out of the bpv it now sounds like a greddy BOV but more along the lines of compression surge.

the sound comes out of the intake now there is no bpv action.

help?

im holding boost very well but i have NO idea what it is and none of my friends know dick about my car.

I have the Cobb TIP and before installing I had heard that an upgraded inlet would sometimes reduce intake/bpv noise. I haven't experienced that affect, but maybe that's what happened to you? I'm also not familiar with forge products, but that's my 2 cents.

well when you install an inlet it's gonna totally change the bpv sound. You could try different springs in your forge if you think its surging...

i took all my shims out and im running the yellow spring. its not doing anything but surging. i may have found the problem.

where the wastegate valve goes there is a little valve from the inlet going to a nozzle in the same spot. the one nozzle broke. does anyone know where or howmuch the nozzle is?

this part. ANYONE?

Checking on a pn for you. It's either Z504-18-741A or L3K9-18-741. I need to do some more homework on it though as the Mazda parts diagrams use the same reference code for both of these part numbers. :-/

Update: Evidently it may be that one of those parts superseded the other. You'll just need to call your dealer and give them one of those pn's and see what they say in reference to the year of your car and/or vin.
