If in a 1.8 BP protege, the stock auto tranny will work. same block!!!
BUt after time you will want ot upgrade,
On the escort forums a member is now up ot a level 10 tranny (dont hate he lives his life in a wheel chair and does his own tranny work). BUt hyou might start ot see tranny problems in auto. BUt a stock protege 1.8 BP tranny will work! Probably keet it at stock boost (around 6psi i think)
