the Type R gives you 15 more horsepower because the Type R is mad tyte.

None of the above...get the Flyin' Protege Sequential Bypass. Everything else needs something special to be done to hook them up, I believe.
If you do go with a BOV instead of a DV/BPV, then get the Greddy. There's a reason that spool uses it in his kits over the HKS. And if you decide to later on, you can still make it recirc!

There's also one by an Aussie company that dumps hlf to atmo and recircs the other half. That seems fairly interesting to me!

But I like the high pitch sound of HKS. Greaddy is loud and I heard Turbo XS is louder, a huge whoosh of air as if your car just passed gas...I want a nice pitch that I can hear. Exactly how loud is the HKS?
i have the greddy type s...its the best sounding bov and it hold boost the best...very good...u cant beat that metallic phsssssst sound...trust me i know...my friends with a turbo focus and a 3000gt vr4 blow off right by my door all the time and its tyght!

17witMSP - greddy type r has a stiffer spring for high boost applications. you'll be fine with the type s. i forget how much boost the type s can hold.

blitz dd for sure. greddy sounds like a damn toy laser gun with the sound effects. the blitz is like a pissed version of the hks...like a slight whistle and mad rush of air!

I am going to say none of the above as well.

if you wanna hear a serious laser gun bov, see if you can find a nightpager bov. no, not the stupid speaker crap they make...they used to have a true bov. now that sounded dead on like a laser.

I have the hks ss and when that thing whistles it is high pitched and loud as hell. if you have the injen cai and the hks ss it its the ulitmate noisemaker!
