I've read through the forums and will try using vinegar/alcohol/lysol wipes to remove the rest of the coating and apply a screen protector first, but assuming that doesn't give me satisfactory results, is there a reasonably priced part I can replace? Other threads on this site are talking about >$1K replacement cost (presumably dealers want to replace the entire head unit for some reason?), but I'm seeing things like this product on eBay for less than $50. This seems like it would be a simple enough repair so long as there's a youtube vid I could watch first, but just want to confirm this would be the right product.
