So this other kid at my school has a mazdaspeed, which is kind of odd and they are both black. That's beside the point today he said he wanted to put my boost controller on his car. This kid is crazy and really didn't care much if he blew his motor. I rode in his car as he boosted 17 psi with stock everything except a 2.5 inch catback. Fuel cut was a b**** but that thing was fast as hell. He raced my friend's talon which would run a low 13 and lost by about 2 car lengths. I was amazed and convinced him to stop but he wouldn't listen. Let's see how long his motor lasts.... BTW he is flashed.

Does he have a FCD? I know you mentioned he hit fuel cut, but you can still hit it at 17psi with Joe's FCD. If he doesn't have one, he will probably be fine believe it or not. The ECU won't let that much air in at higher rpms. Boosting 17psi before 4500krpm is doable.

Insidious this kid is crazy lol he doesn't care much bout his car or his motor for that matter. We would hit fuel cut and he'd keep going, I really think if he didn't hit fuel cut so much he would have been right with the talon. This car is fast as s*** when boosted.

Hmmm wonder if its the one I keep seeing around all the time now. So far in the Cincy area in the past 2 days I have seen 2 titaniums, 2 blacks, and a yellow. More than I have ever seen.

At 12psi I did 14.3 @ 99mph. Easily a 14.0 with better motor mounts (bad wheel hop). Besides a MBC, my only other mods were Intake and FCD.

lol lets say it didn't hit fuel cut off...btw are their any ecu flash's aftermarket or something that reworks the fuel map? becuase I haven't notice many aftermarket stuff yet
