boost gauge help

so im palnning to instal my boost gauge on thursday and i have question. Which way i should direct my wires, its a electric one.....I was thinking about going along with a hood release cable....do i have to remove panels or something??

Just got my defi red racer in. Here is what I did.

I put a T into my bov line and ran it to my signal box. Ran the wires from the singal box in through my hood release cable grommet in the firewall. I ran those up through the rubber trim in the drivers door.

For the other mess of wires I got my ground under the plastic kick pannel under the hood release cable. I extended the other wires and ran them to the fuse box underneath my glovebox. A few people have different fuses they tapped into, and I can't remember which ones I used except illumination for illumination, and tail lamps for another one. I used the add-a-fuse from autozone. Not cheap, but get the job done cleanly and can be reversed if needed.

how ??Ran the wires from the singal box in through my hood release cable grommet in the firewall?? do you ahve to remove battery box to get there or something???

Yes I ran the wires from the signla box (with the vacuum line running into it) in through the firewall. I took the top of my battery box off and that made it easier... just the part that pops easily off, don't go ripping stuff out. Under the dash, follow the hood release cable to the firewall, there is a rubber grommet there. Pull the gromet back and stick a relatively straight wire hanger through the hole into the engine bay. Tape your wire to it and pull it back out. Push the wire through the grommet and reinstall the grommet, except now your wire is inside the cabin of the car.

Congratulations, the hardest part of the install is finished!!

thats what i was looking for so i dont need to remove my whole battery thx man seems much easier now....

thye dont have those add a circuits minis anywhere this place is retarded....i tried pepboys...auto zone and other s***....im so pissed right now

Took me a week to get 3 of them. I thought I grabbed two one night, got home, and they were for the bigger fuses. I was pissed!! I know for sure Car Quest, Autozone, Advance Auto, and PEP Boys sell them if that helps
