Boost controller.

After reading about Cobb's AP, I've decided to ditch the idea of the XEDE and wait it out. That's AP is going to be something!
I think I'm going with a boost controller for the time being. Mechanical or electronic? What model?

TR, do you have much fluctuation with boost when outside temp changes? In my experience with MBC's they seem to fluctuate much more than EBC's in varying temps. Just wanted to see your opinion since using the Greddy on your MS3. Thanks, Mike

Dont get alot of fluctuation since in fl the temps stay the same...but the other days when fl whent down to the 40's yeah i had to make some minor adjustments nothing major...once u play with it u know what to lower or raise...its very simple to use and set up...i love it...cuz when i wanna be on stock boost i shut it off when i wanna run around town fast i have it on 15-16 psi and when i wanna **** some ass i put it on 18-19psi...spiking is minimal to none....and it holds boost strong....

TR, one more quick question ... does you DSC/TCS still operate properly with the factory solenoid bypassed? Tks!

lol, thats kind of harsh. I've had 4 EBC's over the years 2 HKS and 2 Greddy and never had any problems with them. My MBC's responded quicker though, I'll admit.

yea what he said. PITA! to tune and sometimes can be inconsistent.

If u say so...tuning was the fun part...inconsistent??Never...only time i had to change settings was when it got down to the 40's here....and that was just lowering the gain and start boost....Run what u want i love it and it works great...
