Bonus from the original owner!

So when i bought my car back in july from a dealer, it was missing the rear seat headrests, (original owner took them out and never out back in). I asked the salesmen about it and he said he would contact the original owner about it. 5 months later, still no headrest or answer for salesman, after contacting him a few more times over that period. So the other day i was flipping thru the factory manual in glove box and found the original registration with owners name and address. 20 mins later with help of yellowpages, i talk to the guy myself. Nice guy, said he had them... and another set of rims with snow tires he originally bought for the car. Said i could have the wheels and tires for free since he didnt need em anyway and they were for my car. So not only am i getting my missing headrests, but also snow tires in decent shape, i just have to go pick them up! NO THANKS to that douche bag salesman lol

Damn, glad you made out finally..that would suck buying a car without all the goods!.. personally I would have never even purchased it knowing stuff was missing, but thats just me.

Yeah he told me that he was just gonna throw them up on CL or ebay, but if i wanted them, i could have them, saved him the trouble. Helps me out, specially with our first snow hit lol

The free wheels and tires i picked up today! 16" aluminum rims with 205/60/16 Michelin X-Ice tires with one season on em! (breakn)

I just got a surprise with my 09 Speed3. Bought it two months ago and got a letter from Mazda the other day saying the 160000km extended warranty was transferred to me.. The dealership I bought it from obviously did not know this or I'm sure they would have mentioned it and jacked up the price haha

Damn I want a Mazda warranty. Bought my ms3 just over month ago from a small dealership.
However I did find out that there is an aftermarket turbo inlet on it.

When I bought mine it came with a free set of 16" rims and new blizzak tires. But here we are at the end of December and have had no snow worth mentioning, plus my wife has a cr-v that we use in the snow. but hey, they were free.

Only bonus I got when I purchased my Speed3 was a butt-load of insurance and purchase papers from the original owner shoved in back of the glovebox. I called the previous owner and did the right thing by shredding all the documents.
