Body kits and Lip kits

NEW MAZDA OWNER AND PROUD OF IT!!!

Hey people! I just bought a Mazda Protege ES 2003 5 Speed and I was wondering which body kits are the best for it including websites and what not, I've been searching around for body kits my self and I came across two which I like, the TSC 3 and the BC. They both look similar but have their own touch to it I guess, I've searched endless sites and some actually have those two for 1000 or 800 and others would have them for 500 or 450 thats weird why is that?

Lip kit: I'm also maybe going for a lipkit instead of a boykit so I was wondering is there more than one kind? how much do they go for? is there a site which have most of them?

If you guys would like to input anything else I would need to know about anything at all please do, when I say anything i mean ANYTHING such as performance parts or lowering springs

OH YEAH and this might be a stupid question but I have rims which are only 4 lugs and I was wondering is their a conversion kit or something that I can add on my MAZDA to make it a 5 lug to a 4 lug?

if you poke around here, you could find a MSP body conversion, or P5 bumper, they're (obviously) not to aggressive looking, but if you're looking for something to hug the ground a bit closer it looks great IMHO. While you're at it... a LOT of parts off of the MSP will be upgrades for you: suspension, stereo, even turbo kit if you wanna stick some real energy into your project.

As for the rims... sell em and get a new set (could even try to find MSP wheels if you like em)... even if you COULD adapt them to your 5 lug hubs, you don't wanna.

congrats on ur new car..

if you want to do a 5-lug conversion, you can always get 5-lug hub from a ES-GT, P5, etc.. I'd say 5 bolt looks way nicer than 4 esp. when you got a nice set of aftermarket wheels on.

As for body kits, umm theres the BuddyClub2 kit. I just saw a dude selling his on the buy/sell forum. Theres also the WingsWest kit too..you should check that out. Other than that..most ppl here have dont the MSP/MP3 front conversion. I did that to my sedan.

btw..welcome to the board!

he has an ES, he has five lug bolt pattern, sounds like he has a set of wheels that are four lug... and OH, i have a body kit for sale, click the link in my sig to see pictures of it

The canadian ES-GT is the US ES. The canadian ES is like the LX here.

Unfortunately, you are a little late coming into the protege scene. Mazda used to have a really nice front sedan lip (discontinued) and some owners like myself have done the MSP conversion ( parts are also being discontinued for this) so all you are left with are the flashy fiberglass kits. Some people like the BC2 kit, or as others have said you can find a used stock kit from a user here.

Yeah you a really nice body kit but I think its either the BC2 or TCS 3 body kit for me. Oh yeah thats what I exactly what a 5 lug to a 4 lug because I have my brothers old rims which look amazing but there only 4 lugs :(

You have an idea of if there is such a part to convert the 5 to 4 without excessive damage on the bank :D?

Hahahaha thanks a lot man I feel welcome, this board is amazing.

I got some after market rims for the car already though, its just that there 4lugs instead of 5 :(

I got my mind on either a simple lipkit for the winter and then in the summer either its a BC2 or TCS 3 body kit (they look similar)

Here are a few other options.

Then the kit from Accolade. wouldn't be able to use the rear bumper but its another option for ya. You'd need a huge intercooler to fill the spart though...lol
