Body Kit Suggestions Needed.

I stopped reading this thread after people started mentioning Black Widow kits. I don't care what anyone else says, the big bug eyed foglight look of those bumper kits look extremely out of place and VERY disgusting. You're out of your fscking mind if you like those. And a BlackWidow kit? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!

The Protege is a clean car. Let's keep it that way. If these are the kits that you're putting out, my money will be going to Wings West. Subtle but different and my car won't end up looking like some piece of s*** with foglights larger than my head and random holes all over the place.

I thought you people had taste.

And I'm sorry for knocking on new products, but Christ. I applaud your effort to try and help our community but what in the hell are you smoking?

oh yeah....in autoCAD today...i was working on some kind of sketch of a protege (it looks real bad...) but it was wide body haha. but it looks just like a 03.5 'cept WIDER and UGLY :D but yeah, i'll see if i can get a copy just so i can humiliate myself

I dont want anythign too agressive like veilside. I would only get veilside for the name and status...never for the looks.

I have always been a big fan of the Blitz body kits, but wasn't sure how they would look on a Mazda. I found this Blitz kit for the IS300 which I would say has the most similar looks to the 01-03 Protege. This look wouldn't work exactly, but Steph if you could make something like a Blitz with the wide open lower grill for our FMICs that would be tight.

The only thing is the flares that come up the side need to be tamed down a little so they would be even with the front flares on the MSP/MP3/P5 side skirts. That would make it fit with the car much better. If you guys could make something like that, you would have my business.

someone make a pic of that one on a protege, that has some promise, i want a kit with fogs on it, but i dont want the fogs blaring, subtle but there and adds to the overall look of the car, not detracts from it, til u flick the switch, then i want the road lit up and the next 5 miles of it

i like this as well as boostisgood's is300 suggestion. i like simple yet stunning, and i agree w tease i dun like those kits w big bug-eye'd foglights =T

EDIT: it didnt quote vodapas77's link to that blitz kit.. scroll up a bit

How about possibly developing like a type skyline kits for our cars or just something that makes our cars look wicked mean something that is kind of exclusive to the protege's hey you never know maybe we could call the Kit like type MSP or something OR type Mazda only LOL! any way i think if you guys are going to develope some more kits i think you should make them for the 2000's and up and especialy make them for the MSP's and the P5's but please do some thing soon so all of us protege owners can stop looking alike . I love my MSP but i wish it didnt look like every other MSP i see on the road.

manufacturing would be much easier than a body kit. but a moutning solution would be difficult.

for foglight covers the best solution would be to have them mountable without drilling holes, that would be the easiest way.

more complicated solutions would have to require the removal of the front bumper for installation of the covers...you can make a metal bracket for them to hang from or use magnets (but thats dumb cuz then they are easily jackable).

c'mon everyone!!

foglight covers!!!!

they are a clean mod and they actually serve a function. I know we have all seen our fair shar of "WTB: 1 foglight. a big rock cracked it"

i think that blue IS300's front end was sick. the silver STI was killer too, i would really like to see something like that. just make sure it hugs the pavement, no gap.

There are alot of MSP's here in dallas i see a black one every day on my way work and then i see alot of others on the road as i drive around durring the day there are also alot of them in Arlington and Fort Worth

You know what I want? I want a twin bar lower grille insert to make the lower grill look sorta like the 99 style Sport20 over in Japan. Just the grill insert, though, 'cause I think it'd be more subtle like that. =) But thats just me.

Is it possible to mount a wing of some sort into a carbon fiber trunk? Or would that crack it or something? (I don't have any experience with CF)

I like the kit on my friends car..

I don't really know what would look good on a MSP :\

Also, do you think this spoiler would fit a protege?
