Wondering how it would look on the back of the Mazdaspeed 3 in place of the stock Mazda logo? Anyone try it?

I like the M3 badge, but just don't think it should go on other cars. It's kind of like this honda I saw once...with a Ferrari badge....lame! lol

hahahaha why on earth would you put an M3 badge on your car?? So uber rice sauce. I think pep boys has a sweet jdm SiR badge, you should just buy that and put it on your car.

Epic fail !

I will hunt you down and kick you so hard in the nuts your great grandchildren will have high voices.

I can almost feel the love
I had a 330I, and was going to get a 335I or M3 before I changed my mind to the Mazda...hence my lingering appreciation for BMW's. I thought the badge was fitting, since the Mazda is referred to as an M3 on the forum almost exclusively.

A Mazdaspeed3 is not referred to as an M3. It's an MS3.

Don't do that to your MS3. No car deserves such treatment. If you want to pay homage to your former BMW, get a keychain or something.

One question...Why?

Why put an M3 badge on a Mazda? I had a 3 series for many years and loved the way it drove. A colleague of mine bought one at the same time (a 323 sedan) and put a 328 badge on it (330 was not out yet) so everyone thought he purchased the higher end model. Talk about a poseur.

Needless to say, I would never put another makers badge on a car it did not belong. Which reminds me of the Hyundai SUV I saw last week that had the Land Rover badge as well as other LR characteristics on it. Looked like crap and he was not fooling anyone.

Don't do it if my opinion.

I'm not going to do it, for all of the reasons stated. As for why, IMO the mazda speed logo could be a bit more appealing to the eye. It's too plain and doesn't go to far enough to differentiate itself from the regular 3 series.
I think that is actually appealing to some, as it gives the 'sleeper car' effect, although it's not my preference.
And......I love BMW's....can't afford both though.

If you want an M3, buy one. Otherwise, dont be a lame and throw on badges they dont exist for your platform. Nothing worse than a wanna be that makes other owners of these cars, look stupid.
