If it's really cold it's not going to want to stick as well. If you keep some heat on it and press down, kinda wrap it around just barely, it'll eventually stick down all the way. The heat will promote adhesion. I stuck the center on, and then smoothed a path to four points like a cross, then very slowly smoothed the rest of it down to make sure to get out the bubbles and to not cause wrinkles. I talked to my friend and he said we're gonna hit it with a heat gun sometime when it gets a bit warmer out and we might be able to get the wrinkles out.
EDIT: When I did it, mine was the same way. I eventually got it after a while but it was so cold out that the blowdryer felt like it was blowing cool air instead of warm.
