Hi, I'm looking for the set of Blue bulbs that seem to stay on even when the car is shut off, like when it's parked in your driveway, I had seen a car with these lights and thought it was pretty cool the way they stay on all the time, sorry if the question is confusing, but if you have any idea what I am blabbbering about, please do tell!!

I've seen those. There's a small used car lot on my way to work that always has some big black SUV and in the morning I can see the headlights are faintly glowing blue. I'll try to stop by on the way home when they should be open and ask them what the deal is.

probably done by cutting a hole in the light housing and installing some blue leds that are connected to a constant 12v source

Are you guys talking about the fake HID bulbs? If you are, the blue is just the colour of the bulb reflecting off of the reflector. It's not actually on.

I think what you are talking about is just the reflection of he blue bulb in the chrome of the headlight houseing. it appears that the housing is blue when when the sun or another light hits it. if i am right and this is what you are talking about you can buy blue bulbs basically anywhere. (A speed shop, pep boys, autozone, Any car shop)
If you are talking about a actual light. Then i have never heard of anyone having a led or any other light in the headlight housing that stays on all the time.
Let me know if this is what you are talking about

This pic is not a great example of what i am talking about but it will work. The bluish tent to the headlight is just the blue bulbs reflection of light in the headlight housing.

I'm new here but Like noxide said, it is just the reflection of the blue bulb in the chrome of the headlight housing! I bought some yellow one to replace the ugly amber ones...
Hope it help....
You can buy different color of bulb. bulb #: 1157

k, I know some people think it's a "reflection" of the off the headlights, but it's not, b/c at night time, it coudl be pitch black out ( it usually is at night...lol) and a blue light is coming from the headlights of the car, I think someone on here had it right.

Prettymuch it's the same way you would wire stobes into your car, You generally do have to drill a hole in your housing somehow, and put and led blulb inside of it. Might be able to actually drill a hole through the base of your lights themselves, perhaps you can practice on a dead one?

From that pointon, it's simply a matter of wiring in an LED and resister to match for 12v.. check out www.lsdiodes.com for LED explanation, resistor calculaters, and very good prices on both...
