Blown Motor

Tell me it's because I didn't "change my oil." (For the new guys - MazdaUSA told me they wouldn't cover my warranty because I didn't have complete oil change records.)

That's why they wouldn't cover my blown motor. Had no mods except for a CAI or exhaust at the time too. Speaking of ****** up motors, i just messed up my current fully built motor because of a leak in the oil filter and car running too rich = 2 ****** up pistons that melted onto the cylinder wall.

My first motor was at 85 thousand miles when it died so I was out of warranty.

Yup!!! is all bulls*** my wife want's to take the motherfucker's to court because everybody knows that the manifold wasn't the reason for the bearing failure! It happened before with the original one! The dealership is ok the problem is the ******* ashole regional tech rep that decided that the car was moded! He din't even order the dealer to go further and open the engine! for a through inspection! It really sucks I like my car but this is all bulls***! I can throw all the money in the planet and bet that even if the car had the original intake manifold they will still refuse the warranty! The car has only 28,000 miles on it WTF?? I think i saw here in the forum that if the mod din't cause the problem they still have to fix the car by law but I'll guess it involves takin this ashole to court? correct me if I'm wrong!

yes , technically it's their responsibility to prove the mod created the problem.

Any of you guys know where i can find legal info to see if I can get Mazda to warranty my engine? since the manifold din't cause the engine failure?
