not yet, but i just put up pics, im hoping mine isn't warped(the head), i might finish it up tomorow at least get it off the car...

many many pics... I love engines...

I've fully built a few small block chevys and I lust love the whole thing... taking it apart, all the dirt, cleaning it and painting parts (if needed) then putting it all back together cleaner and better than before... its actually fun

yea i blew the HG also, haha... =), you might have seem my thread titled "13.8 blah blah", thats the times i was running with sticking breaks and ****** hg...

It will seal better! Think of it like a lip that produces greater sealing clamping forces. For those of you who don't know, take a look at this:
Here is some information on what o-ringing your block is. This short excerpt is taken from Wayne Chin's Subaru Page.

is a quick diagram of what o-ringing is all
about. The idea is mainly to provide a much
higher clamping force on the head gaskets using a
small metal ring.

is what an o-ringed head looks like. Not much

here, except for the two thin rings added to the
head surface. This excellent example of
craftsmanship was performed by Charlie North of
Function First Motorsports in East Wallingford,

machinist to do a similar job.

I believe you. Just an FYI...

I think the O-ringing would work better for a tighter clamp though.
