Blown Engine Damn !

Blew my engine this past week. Entering the highway at FOT heard a popping sound and then (boom01) !!!!! Engine ceased. Opened hood and just saw oil on the bottom thinking the oil pan broke somehow. Called a Tow and when my car was being raised pieces of metal fell which appeared to be parts of the piston head and rod. What should I do (huh)

I don't have a warranty. What's the average price on replacing or even rebuliding our engine ?

I saw your other posts and you seemed doomed from the start with your engine. you could try pg garage, i think they are like $5k for a forged motor

how did this happen? how many miles are on it, did you have many or any mods? I dont like seeing posts of blown motors... Makes me worried

dude....click his name then where is says "view forum posts" and you can see that his motor has had problems from the beginning between codes and oil issues and whatnot

I am still waiting to get my car back from the dealership after having the engine fail, I wasn't able to find anything in the NY/NJ/CT area as far as used engines. What I was able to find ranged from $3500-$5000 for long blocks. I was covered by warranty thankfully, best of luck to you... oaklandopen has pointed you in a great direction.
