I have had the MZ5 sit around in a wooded area for 2 years. The mice have built a nest inside fan blower assembly. This is just the type of thing that occurs frequently in our area. Mice invade everything/everywhere. I need to get to the fan blower and clean it out.
The Haynes manual says this is a complicated procedure and will require removing the instrument cluster, disconnecting the steering shaft, removing both brake & accelerator pedals, radio, glove box, basically taking apart the entire dashboard. And a special tool is needed: SST 49 B061 015.
Anyone has been able to get to the blower? and is that tool really needed? Is it the same as the Mazda3? Thanks!
