Bizarre 5 issue on cold mornings

The weather has been really cold here recently (down to -25 degrees C with the windchill). The Mazda dealership had cleared the previous CEL, but with the cold weather it is back. It doesn't seem to affect performance other than the stutter before the car is really warm, so as the dealership suggested we will ignore it for now. In this weather my wife is not going to idle the car for 10 min before driving away so until Mazda fixes it we will be stuck with the stutter and the light.

FYI Speed 6 will have a software patch soon from japan for CEL dealing with warm / cold weather issues

If this is correct this is good to know although it is not my MS6 (first build) that is having this problem. Rather it is our MS3 which is a later build that is having this issue. Your comment leads me to believe even more that this is a Mazda-wide issue that is relevant to a recent programming change that they may have made to refine emissions or some other performance parameter. If a patch is coming out for the MS6 then I suspect that one will be coming out for the MS3 and the M5 soon too.
