you can remedy this like I did by putting either a cotton wristban or cap like I did. Works good, especially a tight wristban

no digi cam sorry. just get one of those nike tenis cotton wristbans at sports authority or any sports clothing store. or something of the sort.

I had a billet one I made for myself in my Lancer and never had a problem with it. By the time it is genuinely "cold" out you should have gloves in the car anyway ;) [/mom]

But it isn't that bad AND you shouldn't ever rest your hand on the shifter AND look at it as training to shift faster and smoother (less contact) :D

you're kidding, right?(eek2)

Yeah,

They won't cut them out of stainless which annoys me. They will do them out of billet aluminum, but the price isn't all that cheap. It'd end up being a sell price of about 59 dollars. And that is with NO engraving, just a billet aluminum ball with cylinder base.

Thoughts from you guys??

Thanks,

Steve

Steve! I want one! Will it thread on the evo's shifter? I bought a short shifter but I beleive it's the same size and threading.

how heavy is it gonna be? can they put a weight in it? maybe you can source someone else out for the stainless.

Well they could put a weight in, but that is a major cost adder. Also, a number of the people I've talked to have argued that weight is "BS" and not worthwhile and blah blah blah. So I don't know.. it's a hard tossup on what to do. I'm so tied up with getting the Microtech's finished and the gauge panels finished and taking orders and the like that between all my work and NSN and the like I'll have in probably about 100 hours this week.

So please be patient with me and I'll keep on it and I'll let you know!

Thanks much,

Steve

Yeah I saw it last night I think. My brother brought it in and didn't tell me. I saw one of the shoulder pads. Looks nice :). Thanks! Haven't had a chance to do anything more yet!

Later.

Steve
