sounds good. i should be trying that sensor thing u told me today. kinda hope thats one of my codes. and lookign to order a new o2 sensor? where you reccomend i get that from?

I buy mine from the dealer but its because i like the just plug them in and not worry if they will work or not.

same thing here so I guess ill shoot over the dealer this week. just gotta ask for oem o2 sensor right?

I wouldn't expect you too. I think your are getting to the point in your build where your options are to change things you already have modded just to have something to pick at, or going in a completely new, creative direction. Doing things that hasn't been done before

ya it might be a bit of both, guess we will see next winter. Right now in my mind are rims, color, tires, suspension, brakes and upgrading a few minor things. Plus regular maintenance and cleaning of parts..

So mocked up the perrin rail to see what the blue would look like..

Not too sure about the color

Placement is good, like you have a choice lol. I would strip and polish it, the blue looks weird unless it matches your cars color. Can't go wrong with polished though. I think it's a nicely sized and placed piece to be polished. Just enough to pop without stealing the show. Get the same wheels I have!

He steals the show anyways! :P

All the hoses and fittings for the rail are also ready to installed including the clips to make it connect just like OEM.( not as hard to find as people have mentioned)

That looks so much better. You work fast! Cant wait to see it installed with hoses and fittings. I wonder if you can order a perrin decal and put it on the fuel rail

na dont need a decal, if they wanted the laser etch to stay there they should have done it deeper and not just through the anodizing.

Good point. Didn't know how proud you were of owning a Perrin fuel rail. No name is always cooler IMO

people who know our cars will know what it is and that's about it, like most other parts on my car most people think it came that way.. only true motor heads or people with common sense will notice the small changes. Plus I'm happy i have the rail its a crazy rare part to get for a car this old, if i wanted the Perrin logo i could easily have it re etched.

Leave it be. Eveything you speak is truth btw. My Dad had given me a hand when My tires went out on the last wheels, it just happened to blow out at his house. (My toe was off after lowering and destroyed my front tires due to bad alignment). He helped me remove my wheels and tires, take them to the tire shop, have them replaced, and reinstall them. Just last week, he stared at my wheels and tires for a good 2 minutes asking if they are doing alright still. No clue I switched from gunmetal 16" wheels to giant 18" silver wheels with different tires lol

Or maybe that's why he asked... :D

He had no clue. His face was determined and he was looking for wear patterns. I just said, "Yeah Dad, they are doing fine now" I filled my Mom in on the details and we had a small laugh about it

well minor update, drove the car earlier for its annual safety inspection.. passed with no issues. was fun driving it legally for the first time this year and it worked great for the short trip. Then once i returned to the garage i ripped it apart to swap the fuel rail, as well as bleed the PS system properly.

pics since people like pics better then talking.

all the center gauges are working properly now.

received a new OEM shifter today, looks much better in my all black interior. it is real leather and matches my seats very well.

swapping fuel rail

have to go and pick up one more fitting tomorrow as i grabbed one that was too small for the line im using. luckily i can buy the OEM hardline fittings locally and easily so the new lines can connect to the oem hardlines

quick connect fitting

had to remove the IC piping as well as few other things in order to swap the rail and injectors

also the orange looks more gold then orange when i use the cell phone for pics, I still hate the color since i wanted a nice burnt orange.. hoping maybe once im done ill either learn to like the color/finish or it will be changed over the winter to a completely different color/finish.

oh i see sounds good. if u ever get a chance while taking new pics if you dont mind snap one of that for me :)

did you have to somehow extend the harness for the two top ones or what?

EDIT

you guys know how to test and find out if a cat on the exhaust is bad?

I never extended a single wire while tucking them.

does your cat smell like rotten eggs? or can you hear things bouncing around in it, plus you would know its bad since your car would preform terrible and have no power.
