Here in the Northwest we haven't seen any cold weather yet but I am sure it will be here soon enough. We might as well get out the canoe's though because its raining like a b****.
What is your old man car? Mine is an 03 Land Rover that gets a great 12mpg. Its my family hauler. It's also like driving a brick in a wind-tunnel not like the P5 which glides.

Volvo XC-70 with every toy that they came with.. its great having the AWD, not to mention people leave you alone in your "family" car around here.. i always get looked at and people trying to race in my grocery getting P5

My non-drivable P5 for your very drivable and fun supa-charged P5.

are they much of a difference? Is this more beneficial in a turbo set up then a N/A?
from Nates original Gb

For those that don't know what thermal spacers are they are used to prevent the heat from the head from creeping up into the manifold and thus keeping the intake air cooler. A Cooler more dense air means better efficiency and power for your engine. On average we have people say that these have dropped manifold temperature 15-20˚F.

Works with both turbo and N/A so its win win, The block off is a coolant hose that is run to the throttle body and then back to the main return line to help warm it up for colder weather. I live in ohio and have had this done for awhile and Ive never had a problems.
