big intercooler

Like i said......that thing is gone for a while now, and the car domain page hasn't been updated for about a year or so.That interfooler was only there for a short time cause i didn't like the big center hole of the bumper and i got the filter cheap.It was only temporarly filling (not sure about the spelling) untill i got my REAL fmic and oil cooler that now fill the gap.The interfooler was useless anyway cause it was no better than the stock filter, the pipe bends two times 90 degrees so half the air it sucked in was gone when it reached the engine cause of the worthless flow.I agree the thing sucks (!!!!!) thats why it's gone!!Hope it clears things up a bit cause it's useless discussing parts that aren't even on the car anymore.Yes i know it shouldn't have been there in the first place but like i said.......it was just for a short time.

it's a friend of mine car.
he's running a t60 pushing 700HP,and the engine is totaly stock!

I'll be damned it it's not his,the body kit you see is a fully molded veilside.(I HATE THE WING THOUGH)

are you even boosted?I gota ask,because anyone who puts one of those on there car,may put a FMIC for looks too.

I know this kid that owned a 96supra,and he had a nice FMIC,me and another friend asked to see it(also a supra owner),and he said the hood latch was busted.
we saw him again,and asked agian.when he popped the hood me said "I had to sell the GT60 I had.
this is only a few days after we had seen him last.
when he poped it,NO TURBO AT ALL!!!!!!!!

if he popped and I saw stock TT setup,I could believe him.



..........but no.

I still like the mentality that people have, bigger the FMIC, the more power. Do us all a favor and read a book on thermal dynamics. Especially the section about volumetric efficiency.

on the supra,he has that BIGASSFMIC for good reason.

A)he's running 32PSI
B)it wins shows with out gay decals and s***.,it's just clean.

He's running enough pressure to require such an expansive intercooler, otherwise, you are doing more harm than good.

I wouldn't be so sure that the DSM isn't though.
I have had my hands in some wicked 4G63's,and seen many of them runiing upwards of 30PSI.

although,I'm sure this one has a lot to do with looks to(it is at a show)

i was going to mention that but then saw that the connections on the endtanks might have been above where we could see in the pic
