For those who run R-comps (or whatever), what are you using for your camber/toe settings on your BG chassis? I need to set a baseline for the Tracer. As far as camber settings go, I can get anywhere from 0 to -3.5* on all corners, so adjustment range isn't an issue. The tires are 225/45/14 Hoosiers.

Thoughts?

Kev, check out ClubProtege.com, there are BG guys by the boatload over there, and a lot of them autocross, a few of them are pretty serious.

I'll make a thread over there and see what I can find out.

Kevin,

I'd go with 3 degrees camber up front, and a little toe out- maybe 1/8" to start. (I only run 2 degrees up front, but that is my max range, and the 275s don't really require as much camber)
in the back, start at 2 degrees of camber and zero toe.

For tuning (not accounting for tire pressure or other suspension part adjustments)-
if you need more front end grip, add more camber.
If you need better turn in, increase toe out.
On the back end, if the car is too loose, add more camber.
If it is too tight, take out camber to 1 degree, then start adding toe out.

STS ZX2: We run -3 up front and -2 in back, 25mm F/ 22mm R, 550/375 F/R

This is the only response from CP, reminds me of why I hate that forum:

i don't run R comp's & im on the light side of camber in front -1.8degrees zero toe
Rear is -2.4degrees with .3 degrees of toe out in the rear to help it track around better with the front

is the huh in reference to what that guy said? Or is it in reference to CP (club protege)?

It wasn't his post, it's the fact that I posted that thread quite some time ago and it only had the one response. There are not nearly as many knowledgeable members there as there are here.
