Very nice Stou...

good size picture and nice quality..
what kind of camera did you use to take that with?.
What percentage is your tint?

I like what you did with your hood..
i see the inlet ..but is that an 'outlet' facing the driver and passenger?

Stou...your ride is coming together really well...thanks for sharing a great pic! (thumb)

dude, your car is sweet. nice to see someone spending money on performance instead of ricey spoilers and neons. keep it up!

Thanks guys!

Like Jsgolfer wrote, I like a good looking car with good performance better than an all show no go car. Thats what I'm trying to do with my car.

Like the hood, I tried to get something very functional that look good and not too extreme like those big heavy scoop. So I did 2 front inlet that let the fresh air in and the 2 rear one let the hot air out.

Limited Edition, my tint is 35% front, 65% back and 80% rear. I didn't want to much tint in front because in Quebec, some cops make you remove your tint if they are to dark. My camera is a HP Photosmart 318. It's a $150 (US) camera and it make very good pictures. But it is not good for action pictures.

Great picture...I really love that hood....unique and original without being too overdone at all!

Hey Stou I have an idea, I'll trade you my stock hood, for that hood with the holes in it, I mean you don't want that do you. J\K I think you hood looks really good. (drinks) Thanks for all of your help on my turbo project, and maybe the help to come.;) I will hopefully be tearing my car apart this Thursday or Friday to put the turbo on.

Thanks Mike but I think I will keep my hood for a while! :D

Good luck on your turbo project. Don't forget, take your time and if you need any info, I think this board is T H E P L A C E to get it! (drinks)

Mike, there's 2 bracket on my intercooler. The one on the left is on the side of the intercooler and the one on the right is on the front of the intercooler because of the piping on the right. They both bolt on the metal bumper.

Here's a picture:

One more question Stou, where the intercooler sits, is there enough room for it, or did you guys have to do any cutting?(drinks) (scratch)

To install the intercooler, we didn't do any cutting. But you have to cut small piece of metal from the inside body to make room to install piping that goes to the intercooler. One inside the inner fender on the driver side and one at the front under the metal bumper. (sorry for my english writing.... I hope this is clear enough! :D )

Alright Stou hopefully the last question LOL

I was wondering if you could tell me the angles on your pipping, for the intercooler. Well actually the pipping going from the outlet on the turbo going to the intercooler and then from the intercooler to the throtle body. I am thinking I will need maybe 2 or 3 90 degree bends. And maybe 1 45 degree angle. But I am not sure so your help again is appreciated. Also you are using aluminum pipping or steel? This is my obstacle this week.

Thanks Stou
MIKE

Mike, if you asked for that last week, I removed the front bumper of my car for a small fix. Right now there's some part of the piping I can't see.

As soon as I'll get some spare time, I'll look for that. Maybe you can give a call to John at Xtreme Machine. I'm pretty sure he can tell you what you need.

But I'll try to give you the info before sunday night.

Mike, I just took a look on my piping and I think that Xtreme Machine used all 90 degree bends and cut them as they wish to get variable angle. I have some 90 degree and other that look more like 60 and 45 degree.

Here's a sketch of the piping installation on my car:

My piping is in steel. Since I was to paint it, it was cheaper in steel.

I hope this can help you!
