whats the best turbo kit out there for a 2003 mp5? sorry if its been asked before. im to lazy to look.

you will get alot of mixed reviews on this forum...

in my opinion... the best kit designed for performance is the MAM thumper kit...
if your tight on cash... the MAM sleeper kit looks good... and performs great...

their are other kits available... but i beleive that no offers support and quality like MAMotorsports just ask anyone who has one of their kits...

if you want to inqire more about these kits... search the forced induction section for MAM you will find LOADS of information about these kits... or you can just PM Beau, his handle is "MAMotorsports" he is always available to help you through your install...

OMG NO MAM SUPPORTERS MUST LEAVE< THESE POSTS ARE ANNOYING ARGGGG, rofl, jk, just mocking some douche bag...anyhow the mam kit looks the best i've seen, how it performs i cannot comment on...there are also a few other kits on the forums, but read up and decide which is best for you, also make sure you read up on "customer support", cause most of the vendors making kits aren't the best...

MAM and HiBoost both look good for the P5, as they sure as hell beat the stock MSP kit.

I'd go with MAMotorsports for a turbo kit...infact...I've been thinking about getting it to replace the stocker...lol

MAM seems to be the greatest kit (Both the high-performance Sleeper kit and the mega-hp Thumper kit) and superb service.

with my experience..if something is getting this much praise...it's worth it(MAM kit)...so I guess thats your answer

yea, im not even sponsored, nor was i when i started praising his service, and i will continue until the day i sell this car.

i havent had a single person able to pass my car with the hood up without commenting on the kit :) (thumb)

I would say that we have the best kit for the money without sacrifying quality. We use the best quality products available in the market and the kit has performed perfectly in all climates. It performes better than most factory turbo cars and it has been proven in the street and at the track showing its capabilties.
It has been in the market for almost two years only with some minor issues which were solved with the feedback from our customers mainly due to weather related cold start in severe cold weather.

There are many, many kits out there and there are no complains about the kit in this forum or overseas. The kit has been sold to Australia, Malaysia, England and South America and is being used by Ford Probes, Ford Lasers, Mazdas 626, Mazda Capella and Proteges all with FS 2.0.

Our kit is $3,600.00 and includes:

Very high quality and high performance Ball bearing IHI Turbocharger. It is fast to spool yet with high capacity at top end.
Cast iron manifold with lifetime warranty
Cast iron high flow downpipe
Chrome plated intercooler piping
Very efficient Front Mounted Intercooler with a Spearco core and polished Cast aluminum end tanks.
Stainless steel hose clamps
Steel braided oil feed and return lines with aeroquip fittings
HKS Blow off valve
All fasteners are stainless steel
Cast aluminum intake system with 3 inch open end air filter
Polished stainless steel heat shield
HALTECH FULLY PROGRAMABLE FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

No other company offers a kit loaded with all this for this low price.

Unless you want more power that 330 WHP then you need a bigger turbo, better engine management, external wastegate, etc, and we have the big power turbo kit that is coming out soon.

For more information PM me as I can send more detailed technical info by e- mail.

Including a Haltech, thats a good kit, but where are all the people with hiboost kits on this forum? It seems like everyone with a boosted protege has MAM or Spool kits.

HiBoost right here! no complaints at all, my only problem is i can't turn the boost up even higher cuz i'm an auto.. -_-

juan,

the only thing that i dislike about your company is your customer service. it gets done, but at YOUR pace. there are many a threads on this forum complaining because they cant get a hold of you, or you were supposed to send something but broke contact.

a perfect example is ahmad having to wait MONTHS for the e6x map. i know i have messaged you many times and never gotten one response from you.

this would be ok, asi know you travel a lot, but yet i see that you post quite often on the RSX forums, while ahmad here ont his forum is begging people for a map to get his car working.

also, i disagree with what you say about your kit...sure it is a little cheaper than beaus street sleeper kit, but all of his parts are powder or jet coated. i would spend a little extra money and have the kit looking sicker and also have the customer service.

frankly, if something breaks or goes wrong with your kit and something goes wrong with the MAM kit, i would bet my next paycheck says the end user would get a hold of beau LONG before they get a hold of you.

the reason you don't here from HIboost owners...is because we usually get into some sort of xxx VS. xxx.

This has happened since the very first day they came to this board.

40,000km on my kit....and kit runs like new.

IHI VF-22 Turbo
Cast Iron Manifold
Haltech ECU (proven world wide)... using air temp, MAP and rad fluid sensors
FMIC

all for $3600
