Best time to change oil?

Haha, I know. I would'nt feel safe. I would be checking my oil every time I fill up, just to make sure that there is still some left!!!!

Oil lasts a long time? A buddy just blew the engine in his 06 Maxima at 24,000 miles. Never changed it once.....new engine was not covered under warranty.

I brought my car into the dealer the other day to get changed, along with my recall. I had 6 qts of RP Synth in a box. I sort of lost confidence when the tech came out and said " you need to run 5w20 in this car."... i said, oh really? The manual says 5w20 for NON turbo cars, 5w30 FOR Turbocharged cars. Even wrote it on the interval tag thats stuck to the windshield. Anyone else been told this?

I remember Ford switched to 5w20 in the Lightnings only to increase the fuel economy rating in 2004.
