What is the best way to clean my windows (inside). What works the best.
And also what do you people use for cleaning the inside on the car. I heard armor all is actually bad, any truth to that?.

I forgot damn florida with their bugs is it bad on keeping it on the car for awhile w/o washing it b/4 it gets damage.

Any tips or suggestions would be cool oh and I have these scratches near the hole of the iginition, is there a way that i can make them somehow dissapear...

1. The best way to clean the inside of the windows is a clean, damp chamois. If your windows are tinted, steer clear of Windex as it'll screw up the tint.

2. Armor All is crap. It'll leave your interior oily and shiny. Try Blue Magic Vinyl & Leather Cleaner. It works great and leaves no smell or residue. A clean, wet chamois is always the easiest on the plastic, though. :)

3. Bugs will bake on if you leave 'em there too long. Make it easy on yourself, and wipe them off asap.

4. I don't think there's any way to get those damn scratches out. They're caused by your other keys while the Mazda key is in the ignition.

5. One tip I have is to keep a good coat of wax on your new car. Especially if you live near the ocean like I do. Salt=rust.

thank you for info...

and i'm gonna wake up early to clean my car b4 work!

Which wax company do you like !

The men of detailing (Natey) pretty much covered everything, he taught me everything about detailing.. :D Thanks Natey!

I'll add my 2 cents..
The brand of detailing product can vary, it's really depend on how you like the result. Some reputable company are Zaino, Meguiar, P21S, Zymol, Klasse, etc.. I personally love Meguiar products alot, and they produce wide variety of car detailing product. If you can, give every company a try and see the result yourself, and use the one you feel most comfortable with and the result you like the most.

Keep in mind that proper car wash can avoid swirl marks on the paint. So, car wash is fairly important, don't slack on the product you use and the procedure. Lastly, clay + polish + wax is also important to keep your car clean!

booo on meguiars everything i agree with and no the dish soap or and standard soap will strip the wax from your car.

Zaino Brothers, baby! Expensive at $94 dollars shipped, but you get everything you need (clay bar, wash, 2 different waxes, gloss enhancer, 3 cotton applicators) Check out the pics on their website. You'll be a believer!

well for the bugs one word.... BRA lol my mom drives to bellglades (sugacane fields) lol she has hit 2 birds lol wait 3 birds and her front bumper is black from the bugs lol it gets kinda bad so if u are concerned about the front bumper get a bra itll help

I use Stoner's Invisible Glass on my windows. Newspaper to clean then follow it up with a microfiber towel. For the interior I use 303 aerospace protectant. It has a nice matte finish and a great UV filter. Probably the best stuff you can get, and a very versatile product. For the exterior I use Klasse All In One.

I strongly advise against using a bra. They have a tendency to trap dirt underneath, then it rubs the paint raw by buffeting while the car is being driven. Look into any of the invisible bra products if you really care about keeping the front of your car in good shape.

for tinted windows it's actually recomended to use a water/vinegar mixture. It's easy on the tint, and helps clean away any greasy finger prints

not sure if it is safe for tint, but malco makes some foam window cleaner it is really good. I dont like armoral either.

for sure keep the bugs off your car. that is not good. remember if you use somethign strong to get the bugs off it will prob take the wax off also. so be sure ot rewax if you use something strong. and if you do wax it will be easier to get the bugs off.

I am not sure how to get the scratchs out, but I just make sure I hit the hole first time. dont beat that thing around the edge. the ignition is not a girl you dont have to tease it. and I only keep my mazda key and the keyless entry on the keyring. had the car over a year and no scratches.

Use 2 buckets to wash.

One has soap, the other has clear water to rinse the mitt before putting it back in the soapy water. This keeps the amount of dirt getting in the soap water to a minimum.

BTW - is our dash supposed to be shiny? I was gonna use Formula 2001, but when I tested it on the side of the dash it was HELLA shiny.

I use 2001, but I dont use alot. Dont seem to be really shiny. I usually spray some on the rag and wipe it on (and the big areas)

the two buckets is a good point. I use a bucket when I do the fender wells and rims. they are always dirty.
