I don't think I'll be in town this weekend. But I'm going to the big texas meet(march 18th i think?). If there is another local meet before then I might check it out.

My car ain't all that fast, I haven't touched the boost yet. I'm waiting on installing a GHL downpipe. It's hard for me to find time to install these things.

subscribing for interesting responses...i was always under the impression that a CAI (especially in hot weather) helps a lot...power, temp, sound, better overall engine health bla bla bla...but maybe not ?

on a N/A vehicle yes, they make the motor have more peak power, however the tradeoff is a loss in low end torque.

on a turbo vehicle, the benefit of a CAI is faster spool time and the IAT sensor reads cooler air and doesnt pull timing from engine bay heat. Other than that, the cold air should have no affect on intake temps since the turbo heats the air anyways once it is compressed, whereas a n/a vehicle would get the cold air directly. another drawback would be increased weight, though im sure if you took a piss before you get in the car it would even it back out lol

It also sounds and looks good.

If anyone is looking for a Perrin SRI with a turbohoses filter, let me know I have the combo for sale, originally $400. I am selling it for $250 shipped to anywhere in the US. PM if interested.

True but still starting out at a colder temp air is better.
