Best aftermarket Remote Start for CX-5

If you are looking for an aftermarket remote then no other remote is better then keyless remote at Replace My Remote Store.

How much is the range of the remote with and without the optional RF kit. Which kit recommended if I want to increase the range.

Got my 2016 CX-5 Touring equipped with a Compustar RF-2W9000-SS on Friday. Just listing a few things out in case others want to confirm:

- I have to carry two fobs: the Mazda and the Compustar fob. The Mazda one is heavier with redundant functionalities (lock/unlock), I wish I can leave it home but can't drive away without it :-(
- after remote starting the car with the CompuStar, when I open the door, the engine will shut off. I'll just have to restart the car when I get in to drive. This is for security, no big deal.
- while the Mazda remote does flash the signal lights when locking/unlocking the door, it doesn't flash the light using the CompuStar remote. My installer said he could probably program it to do so, but I didn't bother to come back as I can use the Mazda fob if I need to find my car in the parking.

I've had this 2-way Compustar model for 2 years with my wife's Honda Accord, it works well even when she's deep in the basement of a brick building a block away from the car. I like that it uses AAA which I have a bunch of Eneloops always ready to slap in every 5-6 weeks (it's also another reason I avoided the Viper with built-in rechargeable). The antenna is short and sturdy, no sign of breakage so far even when crammed in my tight pocket. The only complain is the plastic screen over the LCD can get scratched easily, but I have a few Skinomi phone screen protectors lying around, just need to cut a 20mmx35mm rectangle, slap on, and no worry about scratches.

The EVO-All is a damn good value. My compustar setup with drone, ezgo, and install came to nearly $500.

Can the EVO-All be used in conjunction with EZGo, i.e. I would need to only buy those two devices?

I am trying to enable remote start and keyless entry on my 2014 CX-5 Touring...remote start via OEM key fob 3 button press is sufficient, and keyless entry via adding the very small RFID to the key fob.

Do I need any other hardware to make this happen? Don't want to carry around another key fob made by Compustar or others, but I have no experience with this stuff and don't know what each of these modules does. (2014 CX-5 Touring w/ Tech)

its basically get under the dash board and find the two important harnesses and splice wires in program on the cumputer with the programer they sell and your done im sorry it was to cold out when i did this project so i didnt take any pictures i was frozen by the time i was done here is the info click http://fortin.ca/download/27181/sta..._(2013-2015)_-_push-to-start.rev-20150116.pdf i did connection1 on page three without the rf kit dont need it

The instructions in this pdf (http://fortin.ca/download/61731/evo-all_ig_thr_bi_maz1-cx9_pts_2016_a_61731.pdf) suggest there's a few places you need to access wiring. On page 2 they show a picture of a steering wheel, with callouts. I'm guessing (hoping) you don't need to take apart the steering wheel? Also, does this kit assume you already have the factory remote starter (with the phone app control), or not?
