last set of cardone reman axles i put in vibrated immediately right out of the box and the boots split within 400 miles. i know my car is going to go through axles pretty quickly because of how low it sits, but i definitely don’t think i should be receiving defective axles right out of the box… (both were defective)

what luck have you guys had with replacement axles? would prefer not to shell out OEM prices because my car sits on the floor and i can’t expect too much longevity out of them but i’m willing to spend a bit more for something that’s going to be of higher quality. PFA

I am also interested in hearing about good axle replacements as I've got some clicks. OEM would be expensive, and I don't know that they're still available for purchase (I think the local dealer said they were not last time I checked). From what I've heard, Cardone refurbs are not good.

Somebody told me the ones at Autozone were better, but I had some installed and they became a little noisy. They didn't lock up or fall out on the ground but I wonder if any of the reman'd axles are as good as OEM.
