I recently change from main seal and oil pump water pump oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket oil feed lines and all new timing belt.

I am leaking from my new cam seals and the cam gear seams warped? And when I take the cam cap off close to tell cam gear on exhaust side there is a lot of scaring on the cam cap and cam?

Do they make aftermarket cams for these cars if so can anyone help me find some I've been looking for the past week.

I am also replacing the head. Is there anything else I need to do while the head is off? Piston and rings look good and feel good no movement inside the cylinder.

kind of hard to tell unless seen In person but I would say just to be safe before scrapping everything, pull timing belt off the cam gears, take all cam caps off and reinstall them, torque to spec and check again. with a lot of scoring on the cam and cap those will almost definitely need to be replaced but you might be able to salvage the head. you can get c/s cams for about $500 new for the set, just expect any significant gains. up to you but I'd just go OEM. then you don't have to shim and adjust, etc.

Thanks. The cam scored the cap past the oil cavity on the head and cap. I got a brand new head everything brand new from the machine shop. They said it wasn't fixable. The cams could be saved but they said with a new head then they wouldn't use the old ones just get new ones or some that aren't scored bad
