Beefy axles are here!

The pictures suck, but I can tell you the bars are thicker, and the end units are beefier. As soon as the Microtech gets here and I get back to the track, hopefully next Friday, I will attempt to break these. If all goes well (not break), then they will make more and ordering can start.

Sweet GOTZOOM! Hopefully they can hold up! What is the HP rating on this particular axle you got now? Are they going to make any other stage axle that could maybe take more HP? All I can say is AWESOME!

I was told the bars were sourced from the stock they make for the eclispe/talon AWD rear axles that are good for 600 HP. They ended up being the same length. The end peices are what are being made custom for us, and I am not sure what they are rated at. He asked me what kind of power we were looking at, and I told him 400 at the wheels, and he said it should be no problem.

Glad to see your axles came in. They look good. One question though???

How did you get the axles outa the wheel hub. When we did my clutch we could not get them out of the wheel hub!! We tried hammering them out and no luck. We ending up pulling them out of the tranny. I think in the process of punding them my right side shaft squeakes like a mofo. I think the boot split also. Any ideas!!

After unbolting the hub from the strut and steering link, pull the tranny end out with a pry bar, then hammer the wheel hub end out.
