anyone have a P5 on some BBS RGR's or similar wheels, just curious doesn't seem like a popular rim for the p5. i wanna see how they look. it's generally a german car thing.
I've always liked those wheels, I would assume that they aren't that popular with the p5 because the average p5 owner wouldnt or can't afford to put wheels that expensive on thier "econobox". Just a thought. You see these wheels on much more expensive cars because those people have money.
^^^Those are ADR M-Sports in hyperblack. Nice wheel and great color especially for the c-red.
BBS are GREAT wheels. They are top notch quality but of course the price premium comes with that. Also probably don't see many P5's with them because it is more of a German thing....I see alot on VW's and Audi's.
ASA AR1's and AR2's are a good look alike and much cheaper. EM9's are also very similar. I prefer the BBS RK but they cost about twice as much as AR1's. And like the ADR M-Sport, look very good to me.
Which ones, silver painted or black diamond painted?
Diamond Black 18.1 lbs 675 each 18x7.5
17.2 lbs 585 each 17x7.5
Silver painted 18.1 lbs 499 each 18x7.5
I personally would love to have a set of LM's or RGR's too, but they aren't economical for the average P5 owner. There is some guy who lives in Japan who has the LM's on his silver Protege who used to be on the forums every now and then. There are some pictures on the forums still just do a search.
My mechanic has a set of 18" inch rgrs with jic coilovers on his laser blue msp. They look pretty good. I wanted to snap some pics for everyone the last time I was there, but he seems kinda protective of his rides so I don't know if he'd approve.
Can't go wrong with BBS, they're some of the best money can buy. Lots and lots of money. Of course, compared with HRE and Kinesis BBS looks like a bargain, so I suppose everything is relative.
