Battery Maintenance

How often are you supposed to fill the battery with distilled water?
The manual says to look at the level thru the side of the battery, but I can't see a thing.............seems like the plastic is too thick to see what's inside.

I would not worry about it bud, I actually just replace my battery a couple weeks ago! I never looked at water levels almost positive it was sealed but dont recall

Our factory batteries are not maintenance-free, but they're made by Panasonic and are pretty high quality. I always replace batteries every 3 years regardless of whether it needs it, and haven't noticed a significant drop in level by that time.

Speaking of this i've had the 2 for almost 2 years now and I can sorta tell that the car cranks a bit more when I start it up in the AM. I would say a 3rd year is about all I would push it.
