how much effect does the battery have on how a stereo and amp sounds/functions ?
a couple days ago, my battery completely futzed out. I was planning on getting an Optima red/yellow to replace it with, but cant afford the price until after the holz. so I bought an econo batt from Advanced. after switching them out, I noticed the amp/sub doesnt hit nearly as hard as it did previous.
the econo batt has decent specs for what it is, even though I know its built with low end parts, still, I cant imagine it would be so weak as to not be capable of powering a 300w rms D amp ?
if that isnt what it is, could someone give me some ideas on what else might have happened ?
(I did put my head unit's EQ settings back to how they were)
