Battery CCA rating for OEM 2019 cx5 signature

Brilliant!!! That plan should work 100% of the time and when it doesn't...well there you go.
I was gonna recommend the old 9 v battery test, but putting your tongue across a 550CCA 12v battery would not likely be something you'd live to tell the grand kids about. Of course, you'd have to be Gene Simmons in order to do it in the first place...

was gonna suggest licking a thumb & touching the "-" post, then licking the "+" post with his tongue. But that might cause a spark and ignite all the alcohol he'd have to of been drinking.

The sad thing is if you searched You Tube for that, you'd likely get 25 hits.

The Solar BA7 has worked great for me for so many years. Couple of times when it showed the battery is bad or borderline, I got it confirmed by the auto store free testing and the results were same. i.e. the battery is on the last leg. Is it worth $50. That depends. When I was single I used to drive till the car did not start and then replaced the battery. With small kids in the picture this is one area I find it is not worth saving a few $.

Yup.

For me, the transition point was when I was no longer house poor. Then I stopped squeezing every penny out of things.

I might have to get me one of those.
