Bastian's P5 on a college budget

I've got a single 10 in a closed box. Works great! If I were to add an amp for my door speakers I would probably move to a ported box, but still keep the 10.

When I take out my radio surround, a white box comes off with it? How'd you take yours out?

Oh okay, thanks! Don't think I'll be wasting my time on that, not that big of a deal :p.

So I took my subs out today, stereo is fine with out them as long as you're not blasting hip hop. Then it sounds kinda cheezy. Hoping to get a 10" after I sell my 2x12"
And now pictures for pictures sake!

So I took out the subs and got trunk space...

And then immediately turned my car into a moving van.

I forgot how much crap you can get back there.... I feel liberated!

Single 10" could do the whole thing nicely, but its all about your install.
What kinda power are you putting into it? have you ever fibre glassed before?
I'd go for the W3 from JL if possible. Or a polk MM 10" http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14755_Polk-Audio-MM1040.html

I'm getting ready to do my 'glass box, gonna cut off the bracket that holds the spare tools and trim the plastic. Then glass the whole opening, should be good for around a cubic foot.

I haven't done fiberglass before, so it's going to be a learning experience

I'm going to be powering it with my JL 250/1 amp

It's the amp I was using for my 2x12". What do you think?

So I sold the 12's the other day for $250, not bad considering I bought both the 12's and the amp together for $250 (2thumbs) basically got a free amp

Now I have my budget of ~$250 for this project. Still deciding which sub to buy.

I'm thinking I'm going to order the 10w3's

We moved yesterday and my car now lives in a garage! :D (2thumbs)

The house has an attached and a detached garage, my dad's speed3 is living in the attached and the P5 is in the detached

It needs some work but it's much better than having it parked on a busy street like it used to be :)

Super jealous. Wish I had a detached garage all to myself. Work in there, protective covering, pull the car outside and have a garage band lol

It really is awesome (2thumbs) it's outlets galore in there too.... so many things to plug in! :D

hey there i have a question for every one how he did his rear bumper is there a yellow version like it ? because i am doing blue and yellow on my P5
