2003 mazda protege es 2.0
hey guy i'm from sherbrooke and i got a 2003 protege es 2.0

i have a AEM intake and a remus exhaust on it, my question is....

i want to reach 180 hp from my motor, naturally aspirated, and i also heard about FS-ZE parts from japan,

so.... WHAT SHOULD BE THE NEXT STEP TO REACH THAT 180HP RANGE???

you can email me at sebas_umugabo@hotmail.com

thanks..

Custom cams, cam gears, port & polished intake manifold, header, full catless exhaust

that'll be a start...

Get an OBX header. Nice gains.

I think you could hit 140-150 whp (~170 crank) for about 1500-2000 dollars (and a lot of DIY work). At least I'm going to try

mods: intake + header + catback + high flow cat + cams + engine management
dollars: 50 + 200 + 300 + 200 + 200 + 600(to 1200)

The installing cams myself though kind of scares me.

I think Twilight is just some engine management away from 140-150 whp.

P.S.
Are we supposed know where Sherbrooke is?

Turbo people are just bitter because we have bigger penises. :D

Essentially we are all trying to make our penises bigger by making our cars faster.

NA = Stretching, Weights, Exercising, etc. Aka. A lot of work.
Turbo = One pill. Easy results.

for NA, read up in the NA forum.. your best bet is to start out with freeing what power you have with a FULL catback and hiflow cat and a good header...then you can research cams and UDP, etc...
