I have a '93 Honda Civic, and it's loosing antifreeze somewhere, but I can't pinpoint it. The car has about 180,000 miles on it, and I'm sick of putting money in it. I just want to drive it back and forth to work to keep miles off my MP3. I was just wondering if anyone has used Bar's Leaks on any beaters, and if so, if it worked, or dicked up anything. Damn Honda is driving me nuts.

I have used it before.
It works a little bit.
Didn't really have any issues with messing anything up.
Spend the $4.99 and give it a shot!

Bar's Leak is good for very small leaks....its worth a shot, after all you would only be out about $5 if it didn't do the trick.

Please don't use that stuff. It clogs up your radiator cores and heater cores more than it stops leaks. I hate that stuff and all the similar products out there. Take it from someone that has to clean up the mess afterwords. I see....overheated engines in your future....warped heads.....blow head gaskets..... Seriously, fix the leak. It will be worth it.
