Anybody ever see a set of Rota P1 rims with the red stripe around the edge? If so, how close to True Red is the color? I want the flatter black of these rims, and the red might look good against the red car, but if the color is too different it could look really bad.
An 18x8 P1 weighs just under 19 pounds, looks really nice, and a set of four won't break the bank. I think I found my rim. The question now is what color to order.

I think I'd like to go with the Rota for the money based on the feedback, but I am having trouble finding them locally at a place that also carries Falken 615
tires.
Has anyone ever heard of a wheel brand called Liquidmetal? They can be had locally and I saw some that look good, I just don't know what the quality is and I can't find a weight for them on the web.
I had someone try to tell me that a set of 8.5x18 with a 35 offset might fit with 235/40/18 tires. The brand is drifz and they are all aluminum, so they should be pretty light. I just don't believe they could fit.

They would cause issues with fender clearance. No matter what wheel width your running the offset should be 53mm-48mm on the cars no lower. For many reasons including rubbing issues as well as suspension geometry.

I believe you. but could you briefly explain how that changing the wheels center affects this cars geometry. thanks in advance
