Ball Joints Needed just for H&R Springs?

I was told that if your speed 6 is lowered, you will absolutely need adjustable upper ball joints to get the car aligned correctly. I'm currently running on feathered tires that were brand new when aligned 4 months ago. So i'm starting to believe there may be truth to this. Have you guys had these problems? I got a lifetime alignment so i'm goin back today to the alignment place to see what they say before i fork over the $200 on adjustable ball joints. Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

Well I have H&Rs, Koni yellows, and SPC ball joints sitting right next to me. Multi-forum research has revealed to me that the H&Rs just have a little to much negative camber to go without the joints. I am not a fan of ruined tires for preventable reasons.

Depends on how much negative camber it causes. Under 2 degress is acceptable to me because I have had like -1.8-2.0 in my last couple of cars and the tires lasted a very long time.

What really kills tires is TOE or way too much negative/positive camber.

My toe was out like .5 and I ate through a set of new tires in 3 months.. Whereas my camber was off by almost -2 degrees and the tires lasted 3 years

please get the SPC balljoints when you install the H&R's, it'll save you alot of headache, im currently running -1.5 camber on all 4 wheels, no issues to date with it after 1000 miles.. no signs of excessive weird wearing on the tires.. it'll make your life alot easier and they guy doing your alignment will thank you for having the adjustable balljoints too.. :D

Koni shocks arent a bad idea either.. although you dont need them.. the stock shocks in the rear will go first on H&R's, pending you dont dive into a pothole with the front end..

all in all spending the $600 or so dollars on all 3 things will be easier when installing all of it since it'll be all apart. rather take things apart once then multiple times

Rear Camber ??

I am a little new to the lowering game with these cars. What do you do about the rear camber ? And what about swaybar endlinks ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated (wiggle)

I needed the SPCs with my recent HR install. Rear camber is adjustable. I was negative as a mother fer but they get it all straightened out.

The rear is already adjustable ?? Dang, how did I miss seeing that.. So you just need the ball joints for the front ?? Did you do anything about your sway bars ?
