bad throttle body

Hey any have a throttle body go bad? I have a 07 sp3 with only a rear engine mount, the rest is stock. I'm done with this car going to trade it as soon as I can.

First I've heard on any of the forums of a TB going bad ... what exactly are the symptoms leading you to believe this?

its unlikely being a throttle body issue, seems like a lag issue to me.

bad TB

well I had a CEL on for 2 weeks, car ran fine, then I started it up and like there was no throttle input until I had it 3/4 to full throttle. It then was a real slow rev and maxed out around 3,500rpm. Also back fired and sputtering. Diagnosed by Mazda dealer. It might be covered under the power train warranty.(hand)
