B/B MS6 For the win, new owner

Such a fun little drive going to have alittle fun with it before I start doing some major mods. Any baseline suggestions? I want to personalize my car but want some ideas.

Replacing the stock BOV will get you about 1 psi more boost. Other than that there isn't much you can do yet.

Airbox mod I guess if you haven't done it or go with CAI. Oh what about taillight mod for non performance mod?

ebc has brake pids and rotors on the table for the ms6 but they are not ready yet

Sounds great I am currently priceing a BOV, kinda new to the mod world, what is a CAI? An air intercooler of some type?

CAI is short for cold air intake which requires the removal of the stock airbox system and replaced with a kit usually includes a piece of pipe work that connect to some kind of cone shape airfilter. The theory for this is to eliminate the restriction of the factory airbox, the result is more induction noise with slight power again. Sound real sweet if done properly.

Need yet another explanation. I knew what CAI was, but what is FMIC? ...something intercooler, right? I'm new to the whole turbo thing. I've never had one before.

Without incurring the wrath of the forum admins, or starting a flame war, where might one find good manufacturers for a MS6 CAI? I know where to go for Suby or VW parts, but I'm new to the Mazda family...

FMIC= FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER. oopz sorry abt the caps. i havent seen where to get a fmic kit yet for the ms6

With the FMIC, so far there are couple places under development. One straight off my head is the Hiboost's which is on thishttp://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123623647 .

But I think there will be few months before the actual production comes out.

As to CIA is under similar situation but looks like a couple could be out very soon.
