Axela taillights?

Mabey some of you Mazda 3 owners can answer my question. I've been keeping my eye on what is developing wth the 3 because by about 2006 I hope to have a Lava Orange one sitting next to my MSP in the driveway. So, I found the thread on here about the Kenstyle kits for the Axela and I fell in love. Only thing is one of the things I love the most about the model featured in the Kenstyle pics is the red taillights. I then went to Mazda of NA's website and saw only the black Altezza style tails were shown on the 3. But when I went to Mazda of Japan the Axela featured both the red and the Altezza style. So, I was like WTF once again only Japan gets the stuff I like and in the future I see group buys for JDM tails once again. Or am I completely off. Can you get the red tails on the 3? If any one can shed some light on this for me I would really appreciate it.

NA does have red lights, aswell as the black ones. It depends on the model you chose. The NA 5-door only gets the black lights. For the 4-door, depending on the model you choose, you can have red or black. The kenstyle kit does not have an apearence package, so i am assuming you cannot have the package if you want to buy that kit. I think all the models without the appearence package get red lights.

Aha the appearance package adds them. I was thinking it might have been related to the Xenon headlights. But there's a conflict with the Kenstyle kit and the appearance package huh? That sux. Oh well, mabey by the time I am ready to buy there will be a MazdaSpeed 3 available anyhow. Thanks for the info.
