The AWR Transmission mounts come in three stiffness settings - 70, 88, and 95 durometer. I'm looking for people who've had these in their msp's and can tell me the differences they felt in performance, cabin vibration, and overall appeal.

When it needs replaced, upgrade. At least, thats my philosophy. Its worked great so far :D

From what I hear, Medieval is coming out with a Tranny MM within the up coming month. If its anything like the Front MM I would definitely look towards the Medieval Tranny MM. I am running the AWR rear MM and side intserts and the Medieval Front MM. (I was previously running the AWR frony MM) Like I have told other people on the board, night and day difference.

The difference alone in the Front MM stopped alot of the vibrations in cabin the I had with the AWR Front MM. I will be putting in the rear MM by Medieval in the next few weeks. Definitely looking forward to alot less cabin vibration.....I am anticipating that with the installof the rear MM and purchase and install of the side MM and tranny MM I look forward to having mounts that hold the engine down well and eliminate wheel hop, and at the sametime having a nice enjoyable ride instead of a "race-car" feeling ride.

I have Front, Back, and Transmission Mount From AWR 70a duro, SLS Passenger Side Motor mount also 70a, and Weapon R Engine Damper.. all i can say i have no Vibrations inside the car at all, i don't have any Wheel Hop and the car feels great, all of these great mounts along with engine damper is helping me keep the engine in place and to put the power to the ground...

I had front, rear AWR and inserts on the sides and my car had MASSIVE
vibration back to stock except front. BUT when I had them one on
wheel hop was gone the car drives totally different with these mounts
I just could not deal with the cabin vibration...I could never find the
right combination to keep all the mounts on...

What kind of stiffnesses did all of you use? That was more so my question - the difference between stiffnesses, and what a somewhat stock mazdaspeed should have, and those mounts compared to the original ones.

Stock mount rubber durometer is like in the low 60's/high 50's AFAIK. They're also hollow instead of solid like their aftermarket replacements.

I tired all 3 from AWR and 62A from SU all caused massive vibration in my
car...some peeps say they are ok so its a matter of option and how
you like your ride. My ass got numb so out they went...but if a company
can find a middle ground I would be all over it the stockers are trash!!

I tried AWR 88 and 70 in the rear. Both were way too harsh for the rear and shook the dash to pieces, especially with the a/c on. Now I have an AWR 70 front and and a filled stock rear mount from NSN, and I really like the combo.

(filled stock rear mount)... can you show some pics?

Normally, no, lol. However, I'm swapping transmissions right now and will probably be able to get a pic of the rear mount. It's basically a stock mount that's had the open spaces filled in with 3M Window Weld or the equivalent. Works like a charm.

Interesting... I was thinking of something similar a way to modify the stock
mount because these after market ones (although serve its purpose) there
are not street friendly! anyway NICE trick...

I can help you out a bit here. I just replaced the front and passenger side mounts. AWR 88 front and SU ?? side. The vibrations are only at idle and they are very probably a 3-4 on a scale of 1 to 10. I will be putting in the AWR 88 rear next week hopefully so I'll let you know how that works out.

AWR front and rear mounts with 70 durometer here. I also have their side inserts and plan on upgrading to both side mounts (when they both are released). Personally, I don't find the vibrations bad but I've had passengers make comments. Pretty much if you have to ask then more than likely the AWRs are going to be too much for you. The SU mounts are a little softer at 62 durometer but I've also heard some horror stories about some of them breaking. SLS is around the same stiffness as well. Personally for you, I would consider looking into inserts for all four mounts or consider doing the silicone-filling trick.

All the vibration will come when you install the rear one (aftermarket) of course... I just have the front one from SU on. The other three are stock
and yes I have the AWR's front and rear sitting in my closet. I would
like to try the engine damper I wonder how that's working out for some folks...
